That is the philosophy of Mark Matthias, owner of Beaches Restaurants and WareHouse ’23. Since 1995, Matthias has supported a wide variety of community give-back programs, hatched by himself and his cohesive team of employees. It began with the Charity Table—a set aside with the reservation fee going to a local children’s program— and was followed by Green Eggs and Ham and their summer-long Cruisin’ events (Read more in The Messenger).
