The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Team in Training is a fundraising arm of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, training athletes for endurance events as they raise money to support the mission of the LLS.

In 2016, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society invested $49.3 million in research to support 268 research projects (and 22 Therapy Acceleration Program partnerships) in the United States, Canada and 7 other countries.

For over 60 years LLS has supported funding almost every major drug development used in the battle with blood cancer. Since 2000, nearly half of all FDA approved cancer drugs have been for blood cancer patients, but many have been effective on numerous other types of cancer as well. LLS funding has helped advance groundbreaking therapies, and several approved drugs are currently being investigated for use with Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, dementia, and Huntington's disease as well!

100% of your donation at this event will go directly to these projects.
