Pole to Plate: Community-Supported Fishery

OVER THE YEARS, INCREASED INTEREST in knowing where our food comes from has popularized community-supported agriculture (CSAs). Now imagine taking the concept of a regularly scheduled allotment of locally-grown produce and farm-fresh eggs and applying it to the sea—a bounty of freshcaught oysters, crab and salmon picked up or delivered on a weekly basis, caught within three hours of your kitchen.
